• Premier bilan lutte anti-braconnage encourageant

  Les premiers résultats de la lutte anti-braconnage dans le parc de Bamingui-Bangoran sont particulièrement encourageants.
  Après la phase de formation de septembre 2017 à janvier 2018 et l’arrivée sur site des derniers équipements (véhicules, radio...), l’opérationnalisation des 5 premiers groupes de surveillants pisteurs est effective depuis février 2018.   Du 20 au 28 juin 2018, au Centre Opérationnel du Parc National de Bamingui-Bangoran, 19 femmes de la commune de Vassako ont suivi une semaine de formation sur la transformation et la valorisation des noix de karité.

  Chaque année, entre juillet et octobre, le Parc National Bamingui Bangoran est touché par d’importantes crues de toutes ses rivières : un vrai défi pour continuer les activités de lutte anti braconnage dans cette aire protégée.
